Cringleford Prep Pupils Discover the Joy of Reading at the Millenium Library

The trip to the Millennium Library at The Forum in November was designed with a clear purpose: to nurture and deepen the children’s love of reading.

At Cringleford Prep we believe that books open doors to imagination, knowledge, and lifelong learning and our school library is a favourite place for our pupils. This visit was a wonderful opportunity to reinforce that belief. Reception and Year 1 enjoyed listening to stories read by the welcoming library staff and explored a wide variety of books that sparked their curiosity and inspired their interests. Every child came prepared, having either applied for or brought along their library card, and each proudly borrowed a book or two to take home. The excitement didn’t stop at the library doors. The children thoroughly enjoyed the coach journey too, adding an extra layer of fun to the day.
